Bullfighting in Vic-Fezensac

Well, this weekend (13th - 16th May) its time for the bullfights (feria) in nearby Vic-Fezensac for Pentecost.

People come from all over France and the town is transformed for 4 days with many restuarants, bars and shops doing a roaring trade in between the twice daily bullfights in the Arena.

It's not everybody's cup of tea and the seat prices aren't cheap, but the crowd clearly enjoy the spectacle and the same people go to other meetings in Nimes etc later in the year.

We're always full in our gites (we have 15 people here again this year) and it's a great atmosphere for the whole weekend - I just hope I don't have to clear up all the wine bottles again this year !!
